A beautiful late March day on the slopes that felt a lot more like a beautiful late April day. The 2026 snow pack was sad. We got to show off our Marshy shirts though, so of course I had to make sure he was properly featured.
I tried out a "mixed media" style that I've been wanting to do for a while. First cut together in my normal editing software, did some frame rate calculations, and then imported into Procreate Dreams for all the fun bits (I have a love hate relationship with Procreate and Apple). I don't love how all the clips turned out, but I'm pretty happy with it for a first attempt.
This took an embarassingly long time to make. My requiem for a tuesday iykyk.
Filmed on an Akaso Go.
My sister started travel nursing, and I got to go visit her in Washington in 2026. She took me around to see quite a few cool sights, and I got to test out my new knockoff GoPro. (We were supposed to go skiing at first. The GoPro might have made sense in that case. As it was, I was just wandering around Seattle with my silly little camera. The bartender at the Salish Lodge liked it though.)
If you can't tell, I'm a big fan of Twin Peaks.
"It needs a nomination for an acadamy award called Most Meaningless Documentary." - My Father
Unnecessarily filmed on an Akaso Go.
Joaquin had been in our family for as long as I can remember. Driven first by my father, then by my two brothers. He recieved his name when I took my friends to Colorado Springs for a softball tournament, our first trip without parents. He had a lot of issues in the end - sounded like hell in the cold, didn't lock, driver had to open the passenger door from the inside - but we treasured him dearly. He will be missed. (Thanks to Becky for inspiring me to make this.)
If the link breaks, it's because YouTube doesn't allow videos with children participating in "dangerous activities" like lighting bottle rockets.
Probably filmed on various iPhones.
