Thoughts and Praise: I actually find the basic premise of this movie really cool: when you die, you first enter this kitschy train terminal, where you then must decide where to spend your eternity, else get a job working in the in-between. I loved the whole vibe of this place - very corporate-tourism in the 1970s. The fact that your eternal options are limited to a forever beach, or forever Paris, or forever what-have-you is hilariously depressing, especially on top of having to choose within a week.

The plot of the movie kept me engaged, though the ending was somewhat predictable. The characters were all pretty likable and sympathetic.

Criticism: To be honest though, I didn't really care that much for the storyline they chose for this setting: a recently deceased woman who must choose between her first, gone-to-soon husband, or the man she's been married to for upwards of 50 years. That dynamic was fine, but I found myself wanting to explore the universe more. I think they could have gotten a lot more out of this concept if it were a limited series, exploring different characters and stories each episode.
